Year 7 Admissions (September 2026 Entry)
Harrow Local Authority manages admissions for Avanti House Secondary School.
-
Full details of the admissions process are available on the Harrow Council website: www.harrow.gov.uk/schooladmissions.
-
Please also refer to the Harrow Council “Guide to Secondary Schools in Harrow 2026–2027” for further information.
Supplementary Information Form (SIF)
If you wish your child to be considered under the Hindu Faith oversubscription criteria (criteria 5.1, 5.2 or 6 of the Admissions Policy 2026–27), you must complete and submit a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to the school in addition to the Local Authority’s Common Application Form (CAF).
-
A SIF is not required for applications made under sibling link or feeder link criteria.
-
Completed SIFs should be returned in person, by post, or via the school’s external post box.
-
Please do not email copies to the school.
-
The school will be closed from Monday 20 October – Friday 31 October 2025. Please ensure SIFs are submitted before half-term, as we cannot accept recorded delivery post during this period.
-
If more than 15 SIFs are received in each category, places will be allocated based on distance from the school.
Where the school is oversubscribed, places will be allocated strictly in accordance with the oversubscription criteria set out in the Admissions Policy.
In-Year Admissions (Years 7–11, 2025–26)
Occasionally spaces become available in year groups 7–11 when families move out of the area.
-
To join the waiting list, you must apply online through Harrow Local Authority:
-
www.harrow.gov.uk/schools-learning/apply-secondary-school-place.
-
Parents may still submit a SIF if they wish to be considered under the Hindu faith criterion. However, as all Hindu faith places are currently full, the SIF will only be considered if a vacancy arises in that category.
-
All in-year applications must also be made via the Local Authority’s CAF.

WHY CHOOSE
our school?
Selecting the perfect school for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll make, and we’re honoured that Avanti Brook is on your list. Here, we’ve reimagined education to ensure every step of your journey with us—starting from admissions—is welcoming, supportive, and open.
Avanti exists to help each person become a well-rounded human being through intellectual, moral and spiritual growth, and so make the world a better place.
Our unique ethos emphasises each individual’s wellbeing and good mental health. Children with higher levels of emotional, behavioural, social, and school wellbeing, on average, have higher levels of academic achievement and are more engaged in the school community.
We have a dedicated approach to wellbeing, from providing yoga and mindfulness sessions, sports and exercise, charity work, and working with parents and carers as co-educators.
